This meeting was called for the purpose of choosing two health insurance plans from BCBS. BCBS
offered the city an 80/20 plan and two 70/30 plans. Each committee member was asked to talk to those
they represent regarding which plan the employees would prefer between the two 70/30 plans.
Donnie stated he would like more time to contact everyone. He said Union #316 will be meeting on
Thursday night and he would like to wait until after this meeting to make a decision.
Cathy spoke to everyone in City Hall and all employees stated they would go with the 80/20 plan.
The committee will need to meet again and it was suggested to meet on Friday, May 7 at 10:00 a.m. to
make the final decision. Cathy stated that the enrollment packets will be going out the beginning of next
week to start the signup process.
The meeting adjourned at 3:45 p.m.
