COUNCIL MEMBERS ABSENT:

Ervin Metzger

INVOCATION: Invocation given by Mayor Herman via a prayer composed by
George Washington in honor of his birthday.
MINUTES: Minutes of the regular meeting of February B, 1981, approved as
presented.
CITY CLERK'S & CITY TREASURER'S FINANCIAL STATEMENT: The City Clerk's and
City Treasurer's Financial Statement for January was presented for approval.
Motion from Ervin Metzger, second by.Susan Carter, to accept the City
Clerkr~ an~ City 'l're~hreb's ~'inancial Statement for January. Carried.
CITY ATTORNEY: The Mayor announced that Tom Bradley, City Attorney, will
have major surgery and will be unable to perform his duties for about six
weeks. The Mayor will act as City Attorney for the time being.
INSURANCE COMMITTEE: The Mayor asked for a report from the Insurance Com-
mittee. Curt McKenzie responded stating that Merritt Williams is putting
together a package to submit for next meeting.
Permission to leave the state was granted to Bill Brennan, Susan carter,
and Ervin Metzger.
There being no further business to come before the council at this
time, the meeting was adjourned at '7:10 p.m.
