HomeMy WebLinkAboutSpecial City Council Minutes 06.30.1982Minutes of the City Council of Laurel June 30, 1982 A special meeting of the City Council of the City of Laurel, Montana, was held in the Council Chambers and called to order by Mayor Albert Ehrlick at 5:04 p.m., on June 30, 1982, for the purpose of opening bids for gravel and asphalt. · COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT: Duane Behm Susan Carter Rob Harris COUNCIL MEMBERS ABSENT: Lonnie Kellogg Bill Brennan Marvin Carter Bob Gauthier Donald Meyers This being the time and place advertised all bids received were opened and read aloud. ROAD MATERIALS: 0nly one bid received, Gravel, as follows: 2500 cu. yds. 1/2" road material (del.) 2500 cu. yds 3/4" road material {del.) 2000 cu. yds 3/8" stone chips (at pit) 600 cu. yds 3" minus pit road material @ $5.00 which was from William Krug Sand and @ $5.25 $13,125.00 ~ $5.00 12,500.00 ~ $4.00 8,000.00 run substituting 3/4" 3,000.00 total bid $36,625.00 Bid bond attached: check for $3,662.50. ASPHALT: Only one bid received, which was MC-250-800 @ $200.00 Ton f.o.b, refinery Emulsions (any grade) ~ $170.00 Ton f.o.b. No bid bond attached. Since there was not a quorum present, no action was taken.
