LAUREL URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY

Members present: Shirley McDermott, Daniel Klein, Dean Rankin, Bruce McGee
Advisors present: Steve Zeier, Janice Lehman
Others present: Bill Kampfer, Cynthia Ware, James Cartiglia
Meetings will be held the first Monday of every month during the winter.
Survey status: we may have to write some of the owners to contact us since we can't
reach them.
Gary Larson-artist to do mural on the side of the building. Gary Temple provided the
awning to look at.
How do we proceed with new programs? Publicize, describe program, get the city
attorney involved (hope to have mayor and attorney attend next meeting), Randy Hafer is
still glad to help.
$35,000 will be used from our account for the `'east side" water & sewer project, the
same will be true for next you on the "west side" project.
Shirley still trying to find out the format and other details to include before preparing.
Shirley went to Board Training session the end of October, not too relevant to Urban
Renewal.
Bill will be going to Park Board meeting
New requirement for the Caboose project, need to have "owned and non-owned vehicle
coverage on insurance policy.
