Dear Council Members:
This letter serves as written notification of a few changes that will be occurring on
January 1, 2010, with the cable television rates for the citizens in Laurel.
It is always part of our commitment to deliver better programming to our
customers. We have taken aggressive steps to refrain from passing along any
expenses to our customers. However, for us to continue providing the outstanding
choice of quality programming and benefits of the new technology that our customers
have come to expect from us, we are adjusting the cable rates on January 1, 2010. The
new Basic service rate will be $24.15, and the new Expanded Basic rate will be $43.99.
In order to allow the customer to offset the rate increase, we have offered
different options to decrease their rate. Each of our customers has received a letter
explaining the changes and the money saving options that are available. These options
include the following: bundling of services, referring a friend to our service, and paying
in advance with special discounts.
We would like to thank you for giving us the opportunity to bring the residents of
Laurel the. best in--home entertainment..by providing- the -customer with a variety of
