HomeMy WebLinkAboutSpecial City Council Minutes 02.10.1984Minutes of the City Council of Laurel February 10, 1784 A special meeting of the City Council of the City of Laurel, Montana, was held in the Council Chambers and called to or,ler by Mayor Albert Ehrlick at 5:07 p.m., on February 10, 1984, for the purpose of passing a resolution calling for a special election on he questzon of consolidation of law enforcement for Yellowstone County. COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT: Marvin Carter Chuck Diokerson Mel Krug ~onald Meyers ~ob Harris COUNCIL MEMBERS ABSENT: Lonnie KelloggB /ob Gauthier Fred Feuerbacher, III ! Joe Bradley stated that State Law mandat~ that the resolution be signed and returned to County officials. Approval o£ the resolution does not indicate Council approval but would simply allow the issue to be placed on the ballot. RESOLUTION NO. 2052 RESOLUTION CALLING A SPECIAL ELECTION ON THE ©UESTION OF CONSOLIDATION OF LAW ENFORCEMEN' COUNTY. Motion by Alderman Carter that Resolutio: seconded by Alderman Meyers. Motion carried "NO." Meeting adjourned at 5:lB p.m. FOR YELLOWSTONE No. 2052 be passed and adopted, ~ith Alderman Dickerson voting Sharon Herman, Deputy City Clerk Approved by the Mayor and passed by the City Council of the City of Laurel, Montana, this 21st day of February, 1984.
