Tree Board
August 19, 2009
The Tree Board met at 1:30 P.M., in City Hall with
Emelip Eaton, Pat Hart, Curt Maarkegard, Sue Carter and
Fred Bicha present.
Curt presented the budget for trees and tree care for
200972010 $15,000 Parks, $1,000 Trees and Shrubs, and
$3,000 For the Cemetary. There was $13,000 budgeted for
year 2008--2009. We are applying for agrant to trim Riverside
park. The City is going to contract out $1,500 service agree-
ment for spraying.
The next meeting will be Sept. 29, at 1:30 P.M. in City
Hall.

The Tree Board, met at 1:30 in City Hall with Chuck Rodgers,
Pat Hart, Curt Maargard, Sue Carter and Fred Bicha present.
Pat presented the menu for the Conference. We filled
packets for the conference. Some of the members will help set
up at Riverside Hall for the conference, SeOt. 30th at 4:00 p.m.
Next meeting will be Oct. 20, at 1;30 p.m. in City Hall.

The Tree Board met at 1;30 p.m. in City Hall, with Emelie Easton
Chuck Rodgers, Curt Maarkegard, Sue Carter and Mary Emberton.
Emelie Eaton presented the Tree Board, the application for
a grant from the D.N.R.C. asking for $19,000 with matching funds
from the City with in kind services.
There are still some bills to be paid for the Tree Conference
held Oct. 1 &25 2009. One of the attendees of the conference
took the test and passed to be a Certified Arborist, he is from
Laurel.
Next meeting Noverber 17, 1;30 p.m. at City Hall.
