Chuck Rodgers called the meeting to order at 5:05 p.m. at the cemetery.
The bronze plaque was delivered at City Hall. Butch Bailey is the contractor that will be building the
pedestal for the plaque. The committee discussed options for placement of the pedestal. On Friday,
Chuck spoke to Bill Kennedy about placing the memorial on the outside of the Yellowstone County
Veterans' Cemetery fence, at the southeast corner. This land belongs to the county and the committee
agreed this is the best place but would require a letter from the Yellowstone County Commissioners
approving this placement. The other option is to locate it north of the cemetery shop on the northeast
corner of our property.
Motion by Lee, seconded by Dick to locate the Rosselot memorial on the outside of the Yellowstone
County Veterans' Cemetery fence, at the southeast corner, upon receiving a letter of confirmation from
the Yellowstone County Commissioners. Motion carried.
If this option does not work out, the committee agreed it would have to be placed on the northeast comer
of our property.
Meeting adjourned at 5:20 p.m.
