HomeMy WebLinkAboutSpecial City Council Minutes 10.28.1986Minutes of the City Council of Laurel October 28, 1986 A special meeting of the City Council of the City of Laurel, Montana, was held in the Council Chambers and called to order by Mayor Bob Gauthier at 5:27 p.m., on October 28, 1986, for the purpose of passing a resolution to finance the purchase of a new garbage truck. COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT: Ervin Wood Rob Harris Donna Kilpatrick Mel Krug L. D. Collins COUNCIL MEMBERS ABSENT: Chuck Dickerson Donald Meyers Norman Orr A bid from Yellowstone Bank to finance $93,877.00 at 7½% for 36 months was accepted on July 21, 1986. However, the bank required a resolution to be passed prior to the signing of the agreement. RESOLUTION NO. 2257 AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT WITH YELLOWSTONE BANK TO FINANCE THE PURCHASE OF A NEW GARBAGE TRUCK FROM THE GARBAGE FUND. Motion by Alderman Harris that Resolution No. 2257 be passed and adopted, seconded by Alderwoman Kilpatrick. Motion carried 5--0. Meeting adjourned at 5:31 p.m. Donald L.
