ORDINANCE: NO. 279, BEING AN ORDINANCE 1 ?E"IivG SECTION 23
OR ORD11?ANCE NO. 288, BEING THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE
01TY OF L&UREL AND R.ROVIDING ANZ5 FOR THE LLWER OF PUBLI-
CATION AND POSTING OF ORDINANCES.
LAUREL:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
Section, 1. That Section 23 of Ordinance No. 228,
being the revised ordinances of the City of Laurel be and the
same is hereby repealed and the following inserted in lieu
thereof: Section 23. POSTING OF ORDIVZOES. One (1) copy
of ordinance or resolution, upon the day fo11o?aing its pass-
age and approval, shall be posted on the front of the City
Hall facing the street and the City Clerk shall attach at the
end of each ordinance or resolution, as filed in his ordinance
or resolution book, his certificate of such posting, provided,
however, that whenever any ordinance or ordinances shall be
passed revising the general ordinances of the City and the same
shall be published in book form, no posting or further publi-
cation shall be required.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith, together with any resolutions pertaining to the post- %.?
ing of ordinances, in so far as they are in conflict herewith,
are hereby repealed.

law, deposes and says: The he is the duly appointed, quali-
fied and acting City Clerk of the City of Laurel, Montana; that
on the 19th day of November, 1924, in compliance with the orders
of zhe Council of said City of Laurel, he published Ordinance No.
279 passed and adopted on the 18th day of November, 1924, by the
Council of said City of Laurel by posing a full, true and cor-
rect copy thereof on the front of the City Hall in said City of
Laurel.
