HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance No. 220 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 i 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 I 31 32 ORDINANCE NO.?2-Z.2 PROVIDING THE METHOD AND MANNER OF ASSESSMENT AND PAYMENT OF THE COST AND EXP3 TSE OF MAKING AND INSTALLING THE IMPROVEMENTS IN SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 48 OF THE CITY OF LAUREL, MONTANA. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAUREL, MONTANA: Section 1. That the entire cost and expense of making and installing-the improvements in Special Improvement District Nn. 48 of the City of Laurel, Montana, shall be paid by said entire District, each lot or parcel of land within said District to be assessed for that part of the whole cost of said improve- ments which its area bears to the area of the entire District, exclusive of streets, alleys and public places. The work and improvements to which this ordinance relates are more particular- ly described in Resolution No. 194, passed by the City Council of said City of Laurel on July 20th, 1920; the plane-and specifica- tions for which said work and improvements are on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City, reference to which is hereby expressly made. Section 2. That the,entire cost.and expense of making and installing said improvements shall be paid in eight equal annual installments, and bonds therefor are to be drawn against the Fund of said Special Improvement District No. 48, and made payable exclusively from said fund. Such bonds shall be in the denomination of Two Hundred ($200.00) Dollars each, or multiples or fraction thereof. Said assessments shall be paid in eight equal annual installments, and the payment thereof is hereby extended over a period of eight years from and after the com- pletion and acceptance of said improvements.
