An Ordinance,declaring the method of apportioning and
spreading the assessment for the cost of improvementis in
Sp®cial Improvement District No- 32,of the City of-Laurel,
X61itana, providing for the payment for said improvements and
issuing bonds therefore, and creating a fund to be known as
"mind of Special Improvement District No. 32".
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE'CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LAUREL:
SECTION 1. That all cost and expense of making
the improvements provided for in,Resolution No. 156 passed
and, approved on the 6th day of May, A.D. 19190 entitled,
"Resolution of Intention to create Special Improvement Die-
tr.ict No. 320, for the purpose of constructing in aonform-
ity with the specifications adopted and approved by the City
Council, a five (5) foot concrete sidewalk as more particu-
larly set forth, described and'specified in said Resolution,
shall be paid for by the said entire District, each lot or
parcel of land within such District bordering or abutting
upon street or streets or avenues whereon or wherein the
improvement has been made in proportion to the lineal
feet abutting or bordering the same exclusive of streets,
alleys and public places.
SECTION 2. That the cost and expense of making
.said improvements shall be paid in ton (10) annual install-
monts, and for the entire coot and expense of said improve-
ments, bonds are to be drawn on the fund of said Special
improvement District No- 32 and made payable exclusively from
said fund. Such ?onds shall be of the denomination of One
HUndred'($100.00) ollars or multiples or fractions thereof.
Stdh assessments shall be paid'in ten (10) annual installments
add the payment of 'said annual installments of said assessments
a4d of said cost and expense are hereby extended over a
period of teri (10) years from and after the completion of
said improvements. A1.1 money derived from the collection of
said assessments by installments shall constitute a fund to be
known as "Fund of-Special Improvement District No. 32"•
SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with or inconsistent with the terms of this ordinance
are hereby repealed.
