Guests present were Bob Spannagle,Doug Poehls,and Craig Canfield. Minutes of the previous meeting were approved as read. Bills were presented and approved. Craig reported that the L.P.V. Survey was complete and submitted to the F.A.A. It will probably be about a year before activation.Have submitted all alternatives for crosswind runway to F.A.A.Next step will be Environmental Survey,then land acquisition.Next year we will start process for new taxiway to old hangar area. The new and old hangar areas are considered separate areas. We are threatened witch a civil lawsuit by Will metz concerning our removal of scrap metal left next to his hangar.He had been notified several times regarding cleaning the area around his hangar and chose to ignore us.Motion by Schlegelmilch to turn the matter over to our attorney,sconded by Western.Motion passed. Discussed Schaak operating a cropdusting business from Ostlund's hangar.He has shown us no proof of insurance,fuels his aircraft and washes down on the taxiway.He parks his truck on taxiway. Will add "special use"section to Airport Rules and Regulations. We won summary judgement in Whalen/Crilly lawsuit.They must pay us $2,100 but may appeal. Building inspector has made an inspection of the hangar repairs in the "old"area.At this time Kirby is not in compliance.Poehls has complied so far but still needs paint. Northern Skies has offered clerical assistance if we need it. Meeting adjourned at 2010.
