August 11, 2009
A special meeting of the City Council of the City of Laurel, Montana, was held in the
Council Chambers and called. to order by Mayor Ken Olson at 6:00 p.m. on August 11, 2009.
COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT: Doug Poelils
Kate Hart Mark Mace
Alex Wilkins Chuck Dickerson
COUNCIL MEMBERS ABSENT: Chuck Rodgers Norm Stamper
Emelie Eaton
OTHER STAFF PRESENT: Mary Embleton Bill Sheridan
Brooke. Baracker Kurt Markegard
PUBLIC INPUT: None.
SCHEDULED MATTER:
• Resolution No. R09-88: Accepting COP Construction's bid and authorizing the Mayor
to negotiate and execute a contract with COP Construction for Phase 2 of the City's
Water System Improvements Project.
Motion by Council Member Poehls to approve Resolution No. R09-88, seconded by Council
Member Dickerson. There was no public comment or council discussion. A vote was taken on the
motion. All five council members present voted aye. Motion carried 5-0.
ADJOURNMENT:
Motion b Council Member Dickerson to adjourn the council meeting, seconded by Council
Member Poehls. There was no public comment or council discussion. A vote was taken on the
motion. All five council members present voted aye. Motion carried 5-0.
There being no further business to come before-the council at this time, the meeting was adjourned at
6:04 p.m.
