ORDINANCE NO. 513
AN ORDINANCT. REGULATING THE FLUORIDATIGN
OF THE MUNICIPAL WATER SUPPLY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAUREL:
Section 1. That whereas the City Council deems
that it is to the best interest of the j,)ublic health and
welfare, specifically for the control of dental caries,
that the City of Laurel in operating the municipal water
plant for supplying water to the users thereo-i', should
add afluoride compound to the said water.
;:section 2. That the City Plater Commissioner shall
be charged with the enforcement of this Ordinance.
section 3. That the City Water Commissioner shall.
see that such fluoride compound is added to the said mun-
icipal water supply in such dosage, amount, and time and
compounds as are set up by the standards of the Board of
Health for the State of Aontana pertaining to the fluorid-
ation of the public water supply.
Section 4. This Grdinance shall be in full force
and effect 30 days after the passage of the same.
