ANNUAL ORDINANCE CREATING CONTRIBUTIONS FUND TO BE USED IN CONNEC*
TION WITH PAYROLLS FOR THE CITY OF LAUREL, MONTANA, COMMENCING OCTOBER 1, 1957s
AND ENDING UPON ITS REPEAL.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAUREL, MONTANA:
Section 1. That the City Clerk be authorised and directed to
issue warrants signed by the Mayor and City Clerk respectively, upon such
funds connected with the Doployee'ss payroll, as are needed to establish a
Contributions Fund for the purpose of facilitating the monthly payroll work,
and eliminating the need for several warrants issued upon the same fund.
Section 2. That the City Clerk be directed and authorised to
deposit into this Contribution Fund, that portion of Employee's Gross payroll
that is deducted and paid for the Employees such as Withholding Tax, Social
Security Tax, State Board of Equalization Tax, Montana Municipal League Insur-
ance, Public Employees Retirement System payments, and the City(: Portion of
Public Employees Retirement System contributions, as well as the City's portion
of Social Security Tax Contributions, and City's portion of Montana Municipal
League Insurance.
Section 39 That the City Clerk be directed and authorized to draw
warrants on this account in order to pay contributions to the Yellowstone Bank
Laurel, Montana, for withholding tax; Social Security Administration, for
Employee's Contributions of .0225, as well as City's Contributions of 023;
State Board of Equalization, for Employee's State Withholding Tax; Montana
Municipal League Insurance of Employees as well as City's portion of this in-
surance, and Employees contribution for Public Employees Retirement System,
as well as the 03_ty's Contribution for Public Employees Retirement.
Section 4& All ordinances and parts of ordinances which are inconw
sistent or in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
