ANNUAL APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE FOR THE CITY OF LAUREL, MONTANA,$
COMMENCING OCTOBER 1,9 1957, AND ENDING UPON ITS REPEAL.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAUREL, MONTANA:
Section 1. That the following-named officers and employees of the
City of Laurel, Montana., shall receive salaries and compensations as herein-
after set forth by warrants drawn by the City Clerk and signed by the Mayor
and City Clerk respectively, without presentation of any bill or claim to the
City Council upon the approval of the monthly pay roll by the heads of the
respective departments.

Section 2. That there is hereby appropriated out of funds of the
City of Laurel, Montana, for the purpose of paying salaries of the officers
and employees herein named, and defraying the expense and maturing liabili-
ties of the City for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1957, and the sums
of moneys or so much thereof as may be necessary as set forth and itemised
in the official budget of the City of Laurel, Montana, as heretofore finally
adopted and amended and new on file in the office of the City Clerk of the
City of Laurel! Montana..
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized to transfer funds
from various funds at the end of each month to the Payroll Fund shall re-
present the exact amount of the net payroll.
Section 49 If any change in rate of pay is proposed either
through re-classification of employees or for any other reason, the depart-
ment head shall present in writing to the City Clerk the proposed change in
rate, and the sauce shall become effective only by the approval of the Finance
Committee.
Section 5. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances which are incon?
sistent or in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealeds,
