ORDINANCE NO. 50 , BEING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF
GRDINAiVCE NO. 462 RELA'T'ING TO THE SCHEDULE OF FEES TO BE CHARGED
BY THE CI'T'Y OF LAU-EEL FOR THE ISSUANCE OF PE161ITS REZ IRING
SURVEY WORK BY THE CITY ENGINEER.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY' OF LAUREL,
MONTAIt A:
Section 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 462 be amended
and the same is hereby amended as follows:
That the following is a schedule of fees to be charged by the
City of Laurel for the issuance of the various permitshereby set
forth:
1. That the minimum charge for any permit issued by the City
of Laurel requiring survey work by the City Engineer or
his assistants di all be $6.00.
2. That the charge for sidewalks and/or curb & gutter or
similar concrete construction permits shall be determined
at the rate of $0.03 per linear foot.
3. That the charge for permits requiring surveys to establish
property boundary lines including fence permits or lot line
surveys shall be determined at the rate of $3.00 per lot.
4. That the charge for amy permit requiring survey work not
defined herein shall be based on either 5% of the estimated
construction costs or the estimated cost of performing the
survey as determined by the City Engineer.
An urgency and emergency for this Ordinance is hereby declar-
ed to, and does exist, and the sane shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Laurel, Montana,
and approved this 18th day of June, 1957•
