STREET & ALLEY COMMITTEE
AUGUST 30, 1993 5:00 P.M.

Discussion on bid received for Petroleum Products. One bid was
received from Laurel Co-op for $20,218.
Motion by Ron Marshall, seconded by Gay Easton, to accept the
bid from Laurel Co-op. Motion carried.
Discussion on the bids received for street maintenance materials.
Two bids were received. The bid from Krug and Sons was for
$48,875, and the bid from Empire Sand and Gravel was for $84,900.
Motion by Gay Easton, seconded by Ron Marhall to accept the
bid from Krug and Sons. Motion carried.
Discussion on the bids received for cold-laid asphaltic plant mix.
Two bids were received. The bid from Empire Sand and Gravel was
for $45,800. and the bid from Midland O'Leary was for $53,300.
Motion by Ron Marshall, seconded by Dave Michael, to accept
the bid from Empire Sand and Gravel. Motion carried.
Discussion on the bid for liquid asphalt. One bid was received
from Cenex for $26,750.
Motion by Dave Michael, seconded by Ron Marshall, to accept
the bid from Cenex. Motion carried.
