A quorum (3 or more) present the following action was taken by Mrs. Notting-

Steve Quail reported on the sewer rate analysis. The main reasons
for decreased revenues is that there has'been a reduction in personnel
by Burlington Northern and Boise Cascade closed their business. Also
commercial and residential customers are less than what was originally
estimated.
Discussion regarding increasing the sewer rates by 12% in October of
1984 and another 12% in October of 1985.
The committee recommended that the warrant being held from the claims
on June 6th, could now be mailed to them.
The committee reviewed the following 1984--85 preliminary budgets:
Library DNRC Grant
Sewer Fund SIDS
Water Fund Revenue Sharing
Solid Waste Long Term Debt (FAF & Storm Sewer)
General.Fund Firemen's Relief
State Gas Tax Mill Levies for 1984
The committee recommends that assets costing $400 or more be considered
capital outlay. This is an increase from $250. A resolution will be
- presented at the council meeting on June 19th.
Next meeting is scheduled for June 27th at 4:30_to review the preliminary
budget before it is presented to the council on July 3rd.
The committee recommends to accept the bid from Cenex for asphalt,
Conoco Bulk for gas, diesel & oil, and Krug Sand & Gravel for road
materials.
