PARK COMMITTEE
JULY 22, 1993 5:00 P.M.
CITY HALL
MEMBERS PRESENT: Donna Kilpatrick, Chairman

OTHERS PRESENT: Paulette Hoffman Gail Brice

Motion by Bill Brennan, seconded by Gay Easton that we
purchase a galvanized 6-swing set from Miracle Co., for a cost of
$989, delivered to Laurel. Motion carried.
This will come from the Park Development Fund (new development in
Parks).
Motion by Lonnie Kellogg, seconded by Bill Brennan that we
41 allow the Rocky Fork Free Trappers of Laurel to set up a tepee in
the east end of Firemen's Park, September 24-26 during the
Herbstfest. Motion carried.
Members of the Garden Club attended the meeting to ask about dogs
in the parks. A sign is still needed. Their concern is not just
for Firemen's Park but for other parks where people are picnicking
and dogs have left their marks there.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:45 p.m.
