CITY HALL MEMBERS PRESENT: Gay Easton Peggy Schram Emelie Eaton Lonnie Kellogg Jim Flisrand OTHERS PRESENT: Ken Tolliver Steve Arneson Cal Cumin Legion-Little League Concession Stand Steve Arneson, representing Legion Baseball, stated his concern about the distribution of concession stand sales between the Laurel Dodgers and the Laurel Little League. He states that he has had two different stories and would like to have a letter stating the agreement between the two groups. It was stated that the agreement between the two parties relative to the splitting of the profits was to be determined between the two parties. Because Donna Kilpatrick was out of town and the minutes were unavailable concerning this issue, a letter will be sent out to the two parties involved when Donna returns. Park- village Subdivision Cal Cumin, representing the City-County Planning Board, presented an overlay of the characteristics of Village Subdivision Park (now called Alder Ridge). A lengthy discussion followed which included ditch safety, time for development, stock pile of topsoil, irrigation, bridge, county land, etc.. A strong agreement and performance bond or cash deposit is to be a requirement Motion by Peggy Schram, seconded by Emelie Eaton, that Mr. Tolliver, from Village Subdivision, draft a proposal following the guidelines recommended by the Planning Board, including a $5,000.00 performance bond, and present this proposal to the City Attorney, so it can be acted upon by the Committee and be presented at the Council meeting on December 7th. Motion carried. Swimming Pool Repair- Thompson Pools Jim Flisrand stated that Mr. Thompson from Thompson Pool would present his findings on repairs to the swimming pool at the December 23rd meeting of the Park Committee.
