Park Committee
April 28. 1994
5 p.m. to 5:17 p.m.
Attending: Lonnie Kellogg, Emelie Eaton, Gay Easton,
Ron Faught, Dave Michael, Donna Kilpatrick, chairman.
We recommend hiring Kyle Hoffman for pool manager and
Kyle and Mayor Rodgers to select the remainder of the pool
managerial staff. We have received 10 applications for the
pool positions. We recommend that we hire Ann Easton for
recreation director.
The pool will open June 12 weather permitting and if
the deck is in place.
We recommend that we honor last years' pool passes and
continue to sell those passes until the suppy is exhausted.
We recommend that the prices remain the same 510 for 20
pool passes and $1 for an individual swim. The pool will be
open from 1 to 7 each day weather permitting and from 7 to
is 8 p.m. each night family swimming will be allowed.
Discussion was held again on the closure of Kiwanis
Park at 10 p.m.jbut the committee still feels the curfew
should be 12 midnight keeping the curfew consistent in all
parks.
Dave will order the baskets that vandals keep
destroying in Kiwanis Park and Gay will check on possibly
another use.for the fenced in area that is now used for
horseshoe pitching.
