PARK COMMITTEE
JULY 27, 1995
5 P.M. TO 5:55 P.M.
ATTENDING: Bill Brennan, Lonnie Kellogg, Emelie Eaton, Gay
Easton, Donna Kilpatrick, chairman
OTHERS: Cal Cumin, city county planner; Jim Sandall and
Roger Boss, Yellowstone County Park Board
members, Ken Tolliver and Vern Farrar.
KenTolliver, a partner in the corporation that owns Alder
Ridge Subdivision, gave a tour of the park area near
the subdivision and of the county-owned area that used to
be a rock quarry. Tolliver would like to place a storage
building in the area of the quarry near Yard Office Road.
Zoning does not allow for a storage building in that area.
The board favors keeping the area as it is now and not
allowing the storage building. Cal will meet with the county
park board, relay our feelings and get an idea of how that
board feels about the plan. Tolliver said he is willing to
work with the two boards to try to develop the land,
depending on the cost factor.
The meeting adjourned at 5:55 p.m.
