ATTENDING: Gay Easton, Miles Walton, Andy Loebe, Jim Flisrand, Dave
Michael, Donna Kilpatrick, chairman.
OTHERS: Rick Leuthold and 4 others, unidentified.
This being the time and place of advertising, the construction bids
for SID 110 and the bids for street materials were opened. The park
committee opened the bids in lieu of the street and alley and the solid
waste committee. The street and alley committee and the solid waste
committee will meet July 12 to review the bids.
Reports were presented on the pool operation and the summer
recreation programs. Both projects are progressing well.
Gay Easton reported on his research into the ownership of
Thomson Park He found that all deeds to lands in that park are recorded
in the name of the city.
Letters of thanks will be written to the Dodgers Baseball team,
the city crew and others for the fine job they did in preparing for
and the cleaning -up on the Fourth of July.
The next meeting of the park committee will be July 25 at 5 p.m.
The meeting adjourned at 5:45 p.m.
