COUNCIL CHAMBERS
SEPTEMBER 9, 1996

MEMBERS PRESENT:
Ron Marshall, chairman Jeanette Koch
Jim Flisrand
OTHERS PRESENT:
Duane Swecker
Committee met and discussed a compliant from Duane Swecker
concerning his water bill for his apartments at 611-613 Elm.
Jeanette had worked up figures from the past two years and it
appeared that his overall consumption at his apartments had
increased considerably. On August 16, Phil Curry went to the
apartments and could find no problems. Duane was questioned
as to whether he had any leaks in the crawl space underneath
or whether he had a running toilet. He indicated that he had
none. Jeanette and Jim explained to Duane how the sewer charges
are handled.
Jim said he would have the meter pulled for testing by
the city crews.
Jim had planned to address the good-will policy with the
committee, but since there was little representation it will
be discussed at the next meeting.
