at this time.
No one from Cenex was present and no action was taken.
3) Jim requested that the committee take action on the Good Will
policy given to them a couple of months ago for review.
Discussion.
The Mayor reported that the city would need to review its
budget for the necessary funds. He feels that some
determination could be made by March if the funding will be
available.
Jim reported that the committee needs to establish a review
committee to review each claim.
A maximum amount of payment also needs to be determined. The
committee discussed the amount of $500.
0-
The Good Will policy may need to go to the public for a vote
of approval.
Payment will be made only when the insurance company does not
pay on a claim.
The committee suggested that a check valve be installed in
lines that have posed a problem. Kristine Kerr was present at
the meeting and stated that not everyone has the $800 to have
a check valve installed.
Motion by Chuck Dickerson, seconded by Albert Ehrlick, to
table the Good Will Policy until March so that a budget review
can be done and to set up a panel to study the policy and make
a recommendation. Motion carried.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:01 p.m.
