First item of business; Lenore Waddell appeared before
the committee to ask reimbursement of $444.00 for a bill to
replace a curb box. A person who rented from Mrs. Waddell had
called the city to ask that her service be turned off. City
crews had to try twice to turn off the service. Mrs. Waddell
was informed by certified letter that she would have to have
the curb box replaced. Western Pump dug the area up and found
that box in question was an abandoned gas curb box. Subsequent
investigation by the city found that the water curb box was
located at an adjoining residence. Discussion followed. Motion
by Mel Baker, seconded by Dave Michael that the city reimburse
Mrs. Waddell for the bill from western Pump. Motion carried.
Second item of business; Clarence Sonstegaard who has
residential property at 1109 Montana Avenue appeared to ask
that he be allowed to pay only for water for lawn irrigation
since no one lives there at this time. Motion by Phil Curry,
seconded by Sharon Herman to deny Mr. Sonstegaard's request.
Motion carried.

Third item of business; Dan Lowell appeared before the
committee to protest a utilities bill that he had received during
an interim period between renters at his rental on First Avenue.
It was explained to Mr. Lowell that since he had no renters
agreement with the city, and also, that because the billings
was still in his father's, Robert Lowell's name, he was
responsible for the billing since the previous renter had
requested that his service be turned off. Motion by Mel Baker,
seconded by Sharon Herman to deny Mr. Lowell's request. Motion
carried.
Fourth item of business; Joe Leckie appeared to apprise
the committee on Settlement of Water Rights that have been
submitted to the state. He stated that he has filed two appeals
for appropriate right of ownership and one for reserved right
of ownership of water rights. He explained various figures
