FIRST ORDER OF BUSINESS:
High meter reading at the Jessie Nelson residence at 509 Elm. Phil
Curry stated that he went to the Nelson home and found a #40 head
on the water meter that was supposed to have a #25 head. The head
was tested on September 10, 1993. After a discussion a motion was
made by Ron Marshall, seconded by Albert Ehrlick, to go back six
months and adjust the water and sewer rate, with council approval.
Motion carried.
SECOND ORDER OF BUSINESS:
A report was given by Dave Michael that the lead testing for the
City of Laurel is about one-half of the national standards. We are
well within legal limits. He also stated that we must begin
repairs on the Village Subdivision lift station as soon as
possible.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:45 p.m.
