STREET & ALLEY COMMITTEE
SEPTEMBER 16, 1993 5:00 P.M.

Discussion on loading zone on Washington Avenue next to Thomae
Lumber.
Motion by Larry Thomas, seconded by Ron Marshall, to recommend
to the City Council to grant Thomae Lumber a loading zone on
Washington Avenue from Main Street to the alley, Monday through
Cam- from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., provided that there be no
material left on the street or sidewalk, and that safety cones are
placed during the unloading/loading of material. Motion carried
with a vote of 4 in favor and 1 opposed.
Motion by Ron Marshall, seconded by L.D. Collins, that the
Council also recommend a yearly review on the above loading zone.
Motion carried 5--0.
