Collins Dave Michael Peggy Schram Gay Easton OTHERS PRESENT: LuAnne Engh Jim Worthington Larry Coleman Chuck Rodgers Discussion on a second access to Spruce Grove for emergency vehicles. Motion by L.D. Collins, seconded by Ron Marshall, to have Peggy Schram get with Joe Bradley and the West End Ditch Company to agree on a plan of action to be taken as soon as possible. Motion carried. Larry Coleman was present to complain about the speeding on the Y?¢ upper end of First Avenue below the Big Ditch. General discussion. S?r•r°_ Peggy will check to see if speed limits signs are blocked by tree limbs. Mayor Chuck Rodgers and Jim Worthington presented a couple of different proposals made to the owners of Certificate of Survey #613 on South Fifth Street between Yellowstone Avenue and the alley, between Woodland and Cedar Avenues to see about making South Fifth Street a full width street. After a general discussion by the Committee a motion was made by Andy Loebe, seconded by Larry Thomas, to proceed with the proposal with the owners and get the best deal we can to improve South Fifth Street. Motion carried. LuAnn Engh requested help from the City in replacing the curb on the southwest corner of W. 6th and 8th Avenue by West Elementary School. After a general discussion it was decided by a motion by L.D. Collins with a second by Ron Marshall, to participate in the replacing of a curb (handicap accessible) with the P.T.A.. paying for 1/3, the School system paying for 1/3, and the City paying for 1/3.
