CITY HALL MEMBERS PRESENT OTHERS PRESENT Albert Ehrlick, Andy Loebe Dave Michael L.D. Collins Gary Kallen Chairman John Minch Gay Easton Gary Kallen was present requesting the vacating of the alley on Track 1-B, CIS #1780. (see attached) The owner is trying to sell the property and wants to get this matter settled. Motion by Dave Michael, seconded by L.D. Collins, to vacate the alley on Track 1-B, Certificate of Survey #1780. Motion carried. Andy brought information on a screen-all machine to screen and • recycle chips, sand and road material. To rent the machine for a month would run $3,500 and $1,200 per week. A screen for sand, which would cost approximately $1,000, would also have to be purchased. We will look into the cost of a machine. Andy explained that Bob Schreiner, sales for Western Plains Machinery has offered to demonstrate the machine. Motion by Gay Easton, seconded by L.D. Collins, to have a demonstration. Motion carried. After a lengthy discussion about the use of the ditch as the only irrigation on the west side of Alder Avenue, and the ditch on the east side being part of the City storm drain system, it was decided not to participate in the covering of the ditch. Motion by L.D. Collins, seconded by Gay Easton, not to participate in the covering of the ditch on the west side of Alder by Laurel Co-op. Motion carried.
