STREET & ALLEY MEETING
JANUARY 9, 1995 5:00 P.M.

1) Joe Leckie, City Attorney, discussed the Nutting Drain
abandonment being proposed by the two adjacent property
owners.
If the City agrees to the abandonment the adjacent
property owners will sign an agreement with the City
allowing a 50 foot access (25 ft from the center line in
both directions), and a utility easement for storm
system.
•
Committee's concerns are:
a) 11th Street may need to be extended to tie into
Colorado and therefore we would need the north 60
to 70 feet of the 100 ft. right-of-way to maintain
alignment.
b) Draft agreement by adjacent property owners doesn't
meet City's needs.
c) Committee doesn't want another misalignment similar
to Maryland and 8th Avenue.
General Committee feeling is not to accept or recommend
approval of draft agreement presented.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:45 p.m.
