Joe Leckie Andy Loebe Dave Michael Mike Zuhoski D.L. McGillen Jim Flisrand Don Hackmann It was mentioned that the marque board in the entry of City Hall needs to be brought up to date to reflect the personnel changes. Chuck Dickerson has heard good comments about the streets and he extended his compliments to the city crew for a good job on the snow removal, sanding, etc. It is being noticed and appreciated. Gay commented on the water and ice in the underpass. 41 Dave reported that next Monday they should begin to make repairs on the intake lines at the Water Plant. Jim distributed and reviewed the DPW Update of 3-5-96. Discussion regarding pump maintenance at the sewer lift station. The schools proposal for a turn-a-round at West grade school will be discussed tonight under comments from the audience. The Mayor reported that the committee met regarding abandoned buildings and progress is being made. Notification has been sent to Mr. Martin. Continuing our street maintenance programs including pothole patching, sweeping, and sanding. 2. Sign replacement as needed. 3. Crack sealed as weather permits. 4. Snow removal downtown and plowing of all emergency snow routes. PARKS & CEMETERY 1. Equipment, building and ground maintenance continuing throughout the parks, cemetery maintenance, as needed. WATER & SEWER 1. Meter replacement and testing program. 2. Plants continuing with normal treatment and maintenance activities. 3. Water Improvements Project continuing with final design. 4. Preventive maintenance on lift stations at Elm Avenue and Village Subdivision. SOLID WASTE 1. Proceeding with collection and container site operation as required. Winter maintenance being done. ADMINISTRATION 1. Building activity is continuing as normal. 2. Developing yearly work schedules. 3. Engineering, Inc. has completed review on Beartooth & Fairview SID. Public works office has draft copy and will complete review this week. Consultant will meet with SID Steering Committee following comments from City.
