CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE
DECEMBER 5, 1995 6:30 P.M.
COUNCIL CHAMBERS
•
•
Gay Easton questioned where the map is that was hanging on the west
wall of the council chambers? This will be looked into.
Jim presented and reviewed the public works update of December 5,
1995.
Mike Atkinson reported that they will be testing for a new
patrolman on Friday. The new relief dispatcher is doing real well.
Don reported that he and Jim are working on the city boundary
description and reviewing our city map. The election department
wants a copy from us to compare with their map before printing the
final one. We will get a couple of copies when the map is
completed, hopefully in a couple of weeks.
Chuck Dickerson wanted to know if the council has had a chance to
review the proposed committees he presented at the last council
meeting. Discussion and the Mayor suggested that we possibly wait
for the new council members to give their input. The proposal of
combining some of the committees apparently was tried once before,
but ran into problems with lengthy committee meetings.
Chuck Dickerson asked if we ever received an Attorney General's
ruling on mobile homes. He was informed that there is a letter in
the correspondence tonight regarding this issue.
Chuck Rodgers said that he had some complaints about Beartooth
Drive and Jim has taken care of it.

Murray Heights. This apparently will be done sometime in the near
future. Jim said that he will contact the engineer on this project
and get something going on it.
Chuck Rodgers said that Jack Martin will be at the council meeting
tonight for a short time. The Mayor will present him with a
certificate for his 20 years of service on the Fire Department.
Chuck Rodgers encouraged everyone to review the resolutions that
are on the council agenda tonight.
The meeting adjourned at 6:41 p.m.
