Lonnie mentioned that he was approached by a person in Alder Ridge
mobile home park about no sidewalks and street lights and lots of
kids play in the street. The people in the area are concerned
about the 25 mph speed limit, which they feel is too fast for this
area.
The Police Committee and Street and Alley Committee will review
this concern.
0 Albert said that the Street
the request from Jack Roma
tomorrow night at 5:00 p.m.
and Alley Committee will also address
regarding a road to his property,
Chuck Rodgers mentioned that they should also take a look at the
problem with bushes and trees blocking the view of motorists,
especially at the corner of 1st Avenue and 9th Street where there
is a cross walk by the High School.
Joe Leckie wants the Street and Alley Committee to look at the
proposed wording for an ordinance on vacating streets and alleys
and the sale of certain land. He would like some direction from
the Committee. Jim Flisrand is researching this recommendation by
the City County Planning Board. (See Planning board minutes of 9-
9-94)
There is a License Committee meeting tomorrow night at 5:00 p.m. to
review fees charged for fire inspections.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:38 p.m.
