CITY HALL MEMBERS PRESENT OTHERS PRESENT: Chairman- Donna Ron Marshall Bob Graham Kilpatrick Gay Easton Don Hackmann John Minch Darrell McGillen Dave Michael Don explained the reason for a resolution transferring funds from SID #95 Bond Sinking to SID Revolving Fund. Approved a purchase requisition for the purchase of 20 garbage cans in the amount of $3,000 from the Garbage Fund. Darrell McGillen presented an informal bid from Olsen Construction, 205 1/2 South 8th Avenue, in the amount of $2,300 to paint the interior of the FAP complex. Discussion. Motion by Ron Marshall, seconded by Bob Graham, to accept the bid from Olsen Construction, contingent upon Workmen's Comp. coverage or a waiver. Motion carried. Discussion regarding the purchase of the chassis and construction of a brush fire truck. Motion by Bob Graham, seconded by Ron Marshall, to pay for the vehicle from the budgeted line item in the General Fund and the support equipment from the budgeted line item in the Capital Projects Fund. Motion carried. The total will be approximately $40,000. By the Fire Department personnel doing a lot of the assembly work, there is a savings of about $10,000. (The bid for the chassis was awarded to Fitchner Chevrolet on 2-21-93 in the amount of $18,239) Discussion regarding the use of the money from the sale of the improved lot in Cherry Hill Subdivision. The committee feels that this money should be put into a Capital Project Fund and not be used for day to day operating expenses. Motion by Bob Graham, seconded by Gay Easton, to set up a Capital Project Fund for land acquisition and building construction. Motion carried.
