BUDGET/FINANCE COMMITTEE
JUNE 8,'1994 4:30 P.M.

The Committee met and made cuts in the 1994-95 preliminary budget
with the help and recommendations from Department Heads.
The committee recommended a 126 rate increase for Water and a 66
rate increase for sewer.
Discussion regarding the 1 mill levy for local government review.
By law the Council can levy up to 1 mill for the Commissions
expense. However, this may fall under I-105 and the League of
Cities & Towns is requesting an Attorney General's opinion.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:10 p.m.
