The Committee reviewed the claims for September and recommended
that they be paid.
Two new vendors were approved.
Darrell McGillen would like to sell the Fire Departments low band
G.E. portable radios which are junk and of no trade-in value. They
have been out of service for about 4 1/2 years. He has received an
offer of $15.00 each. The Committee recommended that the radio's
be sold for $15.00 each.
Discussion regarding the painting of the Water Office, Computer
Room, Hall entrance, Hallway and ceiling and bathrooms. William
Arden has withdrawn his bid ($648.00) due to health reasons. HC
Construction bid was $1,455.00 which seems rather high. Dave
Michael said that he and his wife would paint it for $400.00 with
the City buying the paint and supplies.
The Committee accepted Dave's offer providing he signs a waiver for
workman's camp, and liability insurance.
Purchase requisitions were approved as follows:

Install carpet on bench in Council Chambers/

Filter heads with filters for water control
in fuel tanks, air compressor and oil
unit heaters
Misc. supplies for City Hall (Thomae Lumber)
White street marking paint & thinner
