BUDGET/FINANCE COMMITTEE
DECEMBER 21, 1993 4:30 P.M.

Don presented and explained two resolutions for transferring cash.
One is from Sewer h and O he perating cash
other a loan to Sewer
Revolving eFundato
Depreciation cash
SID #102 Bond Sinking cash.
Motion by Bob Graham, seconded by Donna Kilpatrick, to
recommend approval of the two above mentioned resolutions. Motion
carried.
Chuck reported that he has hired Morrison-Maierle, Inc., an
engineering firm, to do a compliance study on CT's (chlorine
contact time).
Dave was contacted by the city of Libby regarding extra computer
parts that they would like to sell. They have replaced their
square D computer equipment, which is used at the sewer plant, with
Alan Bradley Equipment.
We are using square D equipment and they have processor cards,
etc., to sell. Dave is considering making them an offer of $1,000
for several thousand dollars of equipment.
Motion by Bob Graham, seconded by Norman Orr, to allow Dave to
proceed with purchasing these items, not to exceed $1,000. Motion
carried. (If Libby wants more money, Dave will bring his request
back to the committee.)
Discussion regarding the hiring of a court reporter for the public
hearing on Best Value Home Improvement Center's business license.
Motion by Norman Orr, seconded by Bob Graham, to recommend the
Postpa•? hiring of a reporting service to take the minutes of the public
hearing on January 4, 1994. Motion carried.
The meeting was adjourned at 4:48 p.m.
