A quorum (3 or more) present the following action was taken by
the committee:
OLD BUSINESS z
A discussion of the problem of the alley between 7th and 8th Avenue and West 5th and
6th Street between the committee and the residents of this area. motion by Larry Peterson
that the West Side of this alley be ditched and culvert put in by the residents whose
driveways are affected so they do not lose the slope into their driveways. Seconded
by Marv Carter and passed. Grades will be shot and -post checked before doing the work.
Joe Bradley drew up an addition to ordinance 10-05145 to limit the on-street parking
of large trucks and tractor-trailer combinations. Moved by Marv Carter that we accept
this addition and seconded by Larry Peterson. Motion passed.

NEW BUSINESS:
Mrs. Diary Ann Guenthner appeared before the committee to seeif something can be done
to correct the drainage problem at the corner of East 4th Street and Birch Avenue as
everything from Colorado Avenue east drains to this area. The committee will have the
pipe size chec'ked'and, what can be done to correct this situation. Mrs Guenthner also
requested that the T-Alley on Birch. Avenue be cut down as it is too high and all drainage
runs into their yard. Motion by Larry Peterson to cut the alley dawn and then gravel
again. Seconded. by Richard. Kerr and.passed.
Robert Adams attended the meeting to see if East 7th Street betUnen Juniper and Locust
would ever be a street. The committee decided they could.n't say this would never be
abanded as it is still d.ed.icatgd.
The committee decided to send letters to the people who live off o$ Laurmac Lane as
they are blocking their alleys and it is creating quite a problem. It is requested
that they attend the next meeting.
