A quorum ( 3 or more) present the following action was taken by the committee:

D. Smith appeared before the committee with a request to have her street
repaired and also have the hole in front be replaced. Motion by R. I3err and
seconded by M. Carter that the hole be repaired as soon as possible. The street
repair will have to be done by a contractor. Mrs Smith also asked about the alley
between the Roller Rink and the Phone Company building if it will be put in and at w
whose expense. The committee will have to check into this problem.
Sandy Sanderson appearred befor the committee to request to borrow the roller
and would pay X5100 to use it for part of one day. Motion by M. Carter end seconded
by R. Herr and motion carried.
Lonnie Wolf presented a signed contract between his (Merry Hills Subdivision CO.
and the Big Ditch Company to put a temporary bridge across the Big Ditch and since
the bridge touches part of the city land he was asking the committees approval.
Motion by R. Herr and seconded by M. Carter to approve as long as there is a key to
the gate at the Police Station in case an emergency arises and entrance is needed.
Motion carried.
Motion by M. Caster and seconded by R. Herr to place a Dead End sign at 8th Avenue
to show that Trace Lane is not a thru street. Motion carried.
Motion by R. Herr and seconded by M. Carter to place some buried tires in the
side path on the corner on E. Maryland and Washington Ave. Motion carried.
Received a request from the Fire Dept to spread some gravel at the old Ramsey Bldg
and to use the Patrol to clean the area. Referred to the council.
