A letter was sent to Mr Hurd explaining the specifications that were followed
in the paving; of Village Sub. and this book was adopted by the City Council by
an ordinance.
Paul O'Neill contacted the committee about a, driveway in the alley of 2nd Avenue
and what material he could use on this driveway. The ordinance says an all-weather
material should be used, but it is not clear if this is off the street or in the
alley. The committee approved his using; a like substance in the driveway as is in
the alley vith the condition that there will be no maintenance provided by the City
on that drivezaay. no committee will look into clarifying the ordinance.
Work on West 12th Street will be a patching for now and hopefully with the
cooperation of the county we can de a major job on it after July 1, 1984.
. Margaret Yt? rtin contacted, the committed about her curb and -,,utter having a clip in it
and the committee decided. to wait until the paving is done in this area and then
will look at fixing; this problem,

Federal Savings and Loan contacted the committee about an7le parking at their
office, but the committee denied. this.
The committee decided to look into the helping of SID l0r,,with some pipe, but the
way the runoff should follow it may not be needed as it may not be word the tearing;
up of a new street that is in pretty good shape.
