STREET & ALLEY COMMITTEE

A quorum (3 or more) present the following action was taken by
the committee:
The committee talked with Jan Stingley about the problem he has
with the alley next to.Jan's IGA. He states the alley needs to
be fixed properly so water buildup will stop backing up around
his store. There is also some very deep holes in the alley that
need to be fixed.. He has received many complaints regarding the
bad shape of the alley from his customers, who use the alley
entrance to get into the parking lot of his store.
The committee recommended that Jan_Stingley appear before the
City Council at its next meeting March 6, 1984, to state his
feelings on what he would like to do.
The committee talked about the street repairs and r blems. We
decided that the Street Foreman shall provide
-C t-t-tee with a list of things and problems that he might find
during his travels over-the streets and alleys, that should be
fixed and repaired. We asked for a list every month, and anything
not taken care of in one month shall be added to the lid of
following month. A copy of the list will be given to
so we can work together with him to get the street and alley.problems
taken care of.. We ask the rest of the Council members and Mayor to
report any problems they find to Mel Krug, Chairman, to be added to
the list.
