All members passed motion and it carried. Larry said enough money . was available to do the job and the City has the culvert if it is large enough and also has the gravel to do the job. John Oakes, from Village Subdivision, said they have a lot of people parking in front of garbage cans there and they are not getting dumped. Larry said the City can not enforce the subdivision covenants although there is an ordinance that states 20 ft. on either side of the can should be left open. He also states there are loaded semi-trucks that park on the streets also. He was advised to report these problems to the police department. He also requested speed limit signs. He was advised that could not be done at the present time due to the expense involved.
