A quorum (3 or more) present the following action was taken by
the committee:
Jim has had conversations with Harlan Lund on Shannon Road. ----
Harlan wants our plan or agreement in writing -- so do we.
Jim states that if Laurel digs the trench 6 ft wide by 2 ft
deep by 5530 ft long plus the 6 access lines that cross the
road 3 ft wide and put in pit run gravel from the County's
pit on Yard Office Rd, and then road mix to within 2 in. of
the top and pack it at about 6 to 8 in. increments, Harlan
will purchance do all the blacktopping. The committee recommends
contracting out the job as it would take approximately 30 good
working days by our crew and equipment to do the job. That would
• be without equipment breakdowns. Jim has one bid for $24,500
and will see about others. We have budgeted $15,000 for the
project now. Jim will visit with Bob Gauthier on budgeting
the remainder of the funds in the next year's budget so we
can get this project done in 1986.
Talk on proposed SID #109. Need Council direction. Jim will
44 S} have Joe go over the ordinance dealing with the SID attorney's
-o-41-responsibilities.
P? Jim Worthington wants the City to pay the testing bill from
SID 0108. We don't remember agreeing to that. Committee
recommends denial to Jim Worthington on the bill.
