STREET & -ALLEY COMMITTEE

the committee:
The sweeper bid from Normont Equipment Co. of Black Eagle
did not meet the specs and Rimrock Equipment Co. of
Billings did not have a bid bond so the committee rejected
both bids.
Jim and Ernie went over the other bids and asked the
representatives more questions about their machines.
. We will have a special meeting on March 31, 1986, at
5 pm to make the final choice to recommend to the Council
for approval.
Jim has reached a verbal agreement with Harlan Lund
on Shannon Road on what each party's participation will
be. We will have to get the bids and costs for our part
now.
The West PTO requests a stop sign at 8th Avenue where
the alley south of the school enters 8th. The committee
recommends denial.
L. D. brought up the stop signs at East Main, East 4th
and Cottonwood. Jim will check into this.
Meeting adjourned at 7 pm.
