Discussion about proposed SID #109: Dick Black spoke on behalf of
the property owners. He stated the Big Ditch Co. will not stop the
street paving but would like to check the plans before the work is
started. The committee recommends to the Council, after some dis-
cussion, to allow a 37 ft. street instead of the 48 ft. we asked for.
Committee recommends to the Council to allow the Mayor to appoint
LeRoy D. Zuck as the engineer and John L. Mohr as the attorney.
The committee makes the following recommendation on the bids:
The gasoline-diesel & oil bid to Laurel Coop Association
The 1000 T. pre mix asphalt to Midland Empire Materials Co.
The gravel & chips to William Krug & Sons
The asphalt to Cenex or Farmers Union Central Exchange
After some discussion the committee recommends to accept the bid
from Barry O'Leary for the Shannon Road project. Jim has the figures
to discuss with the Council.
The complaint from Jack and Rande Broadhurst will be taken care of.
Jim will have Ernie send the loader out to grade the area and get
rid of the weeds.
