LEY COMMITTEE

PLACE OF MEETING City Hall
A. Members present: Chairman Mel Krug

Committee recommends that the City waive the existing ordinance
regarding the street opening bond for Montana Power Company,
Montana Dakota Utilities and Mountain Bell. The City would reserve
the right to request the bond again if need be.
The committee recommends that Jim check with the two companies
r?. that bid on sod replacement for Darlene Steinmetz and get a price
for spring. Barry O'Leary offered to
pay only $441.40 on the low
bid. Committee recommends we pay up to $300 if we need to to get
the problem resolved once and for all.
• The committee recommends we ask the State to add 7 extra feet on
the highway between Locust and Yard Office Road per their suggestion.
We further wish to ask if they would consider going on to E. Maryland
and the highway also so as to have a good bike path but it won't be
Nr designated as one.
FU/111 We talked about the complaint from Yellowstone Bank and suggest
that Jim work with the bank on what can be done to help them out of
their problem.

The committee recommends that Jim and Ernie check the curbs on the
97* r east end of town and get bids to replace them before the highway
N overlay project starts.
