STREET & ALLEY COMMITTEE

Jim Flisrand , L.D.Collins , Chuck Dickerson
B. Other's present: Ken Hi ins from Billings Sweeping Service
A quorum (3 or more) present the following action was taken by
the committee:
Jim Flisrand stated that the lawn replacement problem-on SID #10-8-
with Mrs. Steinmetz is all taken care of.
Ken Higgins offered two prices for each of two size lots to be paved
for a parking lot at the Blackburn property if the City were to pave
it. The price is good for 120 days with a possible extension if
needed.
We received two bids on the concrete replacement for the City.
Quality Concrete was over $24,000 and Merle Cherry Construction
was $17,630.00. The committee recommends that we accept the bid
?PF11,??7 from Merle Cherry Construction.

Town Pump has requested that the City vacate a portion of South
1st Avenue which goes through their parking lot now and would
intersect with 4th Street. The committee recommends that we do
this.
We talked about the first part of Village Subdivision has never
been properly numbered by each home. It should go on record that
without house numbers it is very difficult for emergency vehicles
to know where to go.
